The Font Game

The Font Game for the iPhone and iPod Touch serves up the popular web game, The Rather Difficult Font Game, as a native iPhone application. The quiz features more than 650 fonts and 3 difficulty settings. I designed the UI and built the application, working with font picker John Boardley from I Love Typography and web developer Kari Pätilä.

The Typography Manual

The Typography Manual is a personal project, to create a quick reference for all things typographic. It features enough content to fill a 60-page book, including pages on the basics of type, how to typeset in a variety of situations, a style guide, and several useful resources, such as a font ruler, HTML character codes, and Mac keyboard character codes. I developed the app with content help from Andrew Flach.

Weigand Construction

For Weigand Construction, I worked with Nick Johnson to create a new online identity for the prolific Indiana construction company. The site is designed to highlight their work in the commercial, healthcare, and educational sectors using large, clear photographs and minimal text. I designed and programmed the site, while Nick handled the Projects Gallery, News, and back-end administration.

GE Healthcare

For GE Healthcare's representation at the American Society of Anesthesiologists convention in Orlando, FL, I worked with GreenLeaf Media in Madison, WI to create videos for GE's new line of Digital Innovation products. The 10 interactive Flash videos were presented at kiosk stations inside the large GE booth, with other print and screen work from Greenleaf.
