These are photographs from my life and travels. They're my attempt to embody what Christopher Alexander calls the quality without a name, an undefinable feeling of meaning that emerges from works of art and architecture.

I'm inspired by architecture, nature, and how light, color, form, and texture create that meaning. I'm also inspired by the film work of cinematographers like Roger Deakins and Greig Fraser.

Despite my love for photography, I'm not a camera nerd. These were all shot on the Fujifilm X-E1 that I purchased in 2012. It's been around the world with me and continues to be a wonderful companion.
