Meta Ray-Ban Display is the first mass-market glasses with a built in display, expanding the audio, capture, and AI use cases of the Ray-Ban Metas.
Messages, calls, notifications, AI responses, maps, and other interfaces are projected into the right eye lens. It uses the Meta Neural Band for gesture and text input.
I led the Inputs / Outputs team, who designed the hardware and light interactions, the interaction model for the capacitive touch temple arm, the visual design system and components, and creative and technical art for Hypertrail, the Neural Band game.
Meta Ray-Ban Display launched to critical and public success at Connect 2025. It was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2025 and represents Meta's first consumer-ready step towards augmented reality glasses.
